Check the identifiers found during import. Missing codes can be entered when you review your drafts.
Artwork & metadata
Available titles, artwork and original release dates become editable drafts. Review credits and rights before submitting.
Original masters
Bring your WAV or FLAC files. Audio is supplied by you, not downloaded from a streaming service.
Your next delivery
Check the new delivery and artist profiles on stores before arranging removal with your previous distributor.
Store matching depends on the original audio, identifiers and metadata. Play counts and playlist placements can’t be guaranteed.
The practical
questions.
Will my play counts stay?
Platforms decide how recordings are matched. Using the same audio, ISRC and matching metadata helps preserve continuity. Play counts and playlist placements cannot be guaranteed. Check the new delivery before requesting removal of the old version.
What does the importer bring across?
Available artwork, release details, track information and existing identifiers can be used to create draft releases. Review every field before submitting: public store listings may have missing or incomplete credits. Your original audio files must be uploaded separately.
Is there a free plan?
No. Distribution requires a paid DistroVibe plan. Migration assistance is included with your plan; previewing release details here does not create an account, subscribe you or submit music to stores.
Can I move more than one release?
Yes. Inside your dashboard, search for your artist and select multiple releases with the catalog importer. For larger catalogs, contact us to discuss the move before you begin.
Does my old account history move too?
No. Previous distributor statements, balances and account analytics are not imported. Save those records with your existing provider. Original release dates and existing identifiers can be retained in your release details.
